What is the USMMA Challenge?
The USMMA Challenge is a five-day competition involving the entire Kings Point community to see which alumni class or parent group (current/past) can achieve the highest participation rate and raise the most amount of funds. This year’s Challenge will take place from Sunday, May 3 through Thursday, May 7.
How do I know how my class/group is doing?
We encourage you to check the Leaderboard often! Click the arrows next to "Participation" and "Dollars" to sort from highest to lowest or lowest to highest. Acta Non Verba!
How do I join the USMMA Challenge?
A minimum of $25 is required to join the USMMA Challenge. You can participate by donating online, calling the Alumni Office (516-482-5274), or mailing your gift to the Alumni Office. Please note, gifts must be received by May 7 to count toward the USMMA Challenge.
What does my donation during the USMMA Challenge support?
Every donation supports the Midshipmen. Some of the areas on campus that benefit from your support include academics, athletics, class activities, clubs, morale, the Regimental Band, and the waterfront.
Can I make a stock donation toward the USMMA Challenge?
Yes, stock donations received by May 7 count toward the Challenge. To transfer stock or bonds from your brokerage account, notify your broker in writing of the exact name and number of securities you want to transfer from your account. Inform your broker of the following information:
